In a recent TV debate, a Pakistan based TV news channel called 92 news, claimed that Pakistan’s political map, depicting Kashmir as its part has been approved by an eurasian political, economic and security alliance called Shanghai Cooperation Organization (SCO) headquartered in Shanghai, China to which, both Pakistan and India possess the membership status.
The anchor and his analyst claimed that it is a big success of Pakistan on international front that the organization accepted Pakistan’s political map when presented by Pakistan’s representative and USIP – United States Institute of Peace’s former employee Moeed Yousaf.
It is interesting to note here that after Indian Hindutva attempt for another wave of Muslim Genocide in India, On 5 August 2019, the Government of India revoked the special status, or limited autonomy, granted under Article 370 of the Indian Constitution to Independent state of Jammu and Kashmir—a region illegally occupied by India as a state which consists of the larger part of Kashmir which has been the subject of dispute among India, Pakistan, and China since 1947. As an Answer to this revocation, Pakistan’s establishment was able to only change its own political map that it was already using since 1947. This too was celebrated for no reason.
Ajit Doval, the master mind behind current genocide of Muslims in Kashmir, walked out of SCO online summit in the aggressive move, threatening India’s exit from the SCO.
